ABOUT Tasiri

Health, culture, policy, and healing are often treated as separate conversations. I believe they are deeply connected.

My work explores the intersection of health equity, culture, systems, and human wellbeing. Through research, writing, education, and commentary, I examine how history, policy, social conditions, and lived experience shape health outcomes, particularly within communities that have been historically overlooked or underserved.

I hold degrees in Political Science and Africana Studies, as well as a Master of Jurisprudence in Business Law and Corporate Compliance with a focus on Regulatory Analysis. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine, where my work explores the relationship between culture, stress, healing, and health.

As an herbalist and health equity advocate, I am interested in both individual healing and systemic change. Lasting health cannot be achieved through personal responsibility alone, nor can policy create wellbeing without addressing culture, community, and the human experience. Meaningful change requires both.

TasiriSoul is a space for thoughtful conversations about health, culture, policy, healing, and the systems that shape our lives. Here you'll find research-informed insights, commentary on current issues, reflections on wellbeing, and explorations of both traditional and modern approaches to health.

My goal is simple: to help people think more deeply about what it means to be well and what it will take to create a healthier, more equitable future for all.
